The Fahrney Keedy Home & Village Senior Living Community exemplifies a luxurious campus with Independent Living choices in 36 cottages and 24 apartments, a licensed Level III 32 room assisted living facility, and a fully certified 100-bed skilled nursing facility which provides a continuum of care for seniors.

 

In conjunction with Noelker and Hull Architects, Gatter & Diehl engineered Fahrney Keedy’s new Adult Daycare and Community Center, as well as an expansion to the Bowman Memory Care Center, which specializes in senior memory care for persons with Alzheimer’s and other memory impairments. Each facility is provided with highly efficient geothermal systems which use the earth’s natural energy to heat and cool the buildings for maximum energy savings.

Complete plumbing and electrical designs were integrated to maximize energy and cost efficiency along with a full power distribution system that included an emergency power extension from the main campus plant and distributed throughout the buildings.
