For over 50 years, Gatter & Diehl has partnered with  Harrisburg Hospital (now known as UPMC Pinnacle) providing state-of-the-art MEP/FP designs. This long standing relationship has allowed us to witness the transformation of the hospital over the years.

 

The UPMC Pinnacle Hospital serves as the primary hospital for the Harrisburg-based UPMC Pinnacle system. This 400-bed facility is a full-service acute care hospital with numerous programs such as a cardio vascular institute, transplant, ICU, emergency department, pharmacy, and inpatient rehabilitation.

 

Over numerous decades, Gatter & Diehl has been tasked with incorporating highly efficient HVAC, mechanical and electrical systems to the hospital’s intermediate care unit, short side and south side OR’s, ICU, CCU, and cath labs. All engineering designs and aspects of planning, construction administration and commissioning were integrated to meet healthcare code requirements.
