After acquiring the Twin Lakes rehabilitation facility back in 2021, UPMC decided to undergo an expansion and renovation project for what is now known as the UPMC Western Behavioral Health at Twin Lakes. The facility, which specializes in substance use disorder withdrawal management and residential addiction treatment, now has a 18,400 sq. ft. treatment center addition and includes a 60% increase in beds (64 beds in total). The project also created 26 new jobs. 

Our team worked alongside the architects at CPL to enhance the new addition, as well as the existing facility with highly advanced and efficient HVAC and lighting systems which included a packaged rooftop system with VAV terminals, LED lighting, and controls throughout the space. This project is just one of a multitude of examples that exemplifies our commitment to elevate the quality of health and life in the communities we serve.
